Experis Technology Group Implements Complete Disaster Recovery Solution System

Experis Technology Group implemented a complete Disaster Recovery Solution system at their Data Center in Middletown, VA for a large investment organization.

The data center, located 75 miles west of Washington DC, is outside of the blast zone.  In addition to the advantageous location, the customer has the provision and assurance of the availability of at least 20 workstation available for use in the event of a disaster.

The customer reported a recurring problem with their current DR solution and is located in an area where the environmentals of the production system fail on a regular basis.  The Experis solution for this customer included the creation of a private cloud based on a consumption model where the customer only pays for the assets they are using.

Experis provided a complete converged solution which included servers, storage, backup and networking for this customer.  The customer only pays a monthly fee based on actual usage.  There were no capital expenditures required for this customer.

Because this solution is a private cloud dedicated to this customer, the customer is using the DR system for their production test and development system.
